Poll on Application to Increase Festival Numbers to 25,000

Our poll on increasing the maximum licensed attendees to 25,000 closed on Thursday 2 November 2023

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to take part in the poll

Over 1000 responses were received to our question “Do you oppose the increase from 19,999 to 25,000?“

The poll was open to anyone to respond, regardless of where they live

The result is in line with our Sept/Oct survey findings and yet further evidence that this topic divides our community

The results:

        480   respondents  (46%)  are opposed to the increase

       568 respondents  (54%)  are not opposed to the increase
