Parish (Town) Councils for Lytham and Ansdell
Following the Lytham Voice petition and Fylde Councils subsequent public consultation into the establishment of Parish Councils for Lytham and Ansdell, the councils Executive Committee held on Tuesday 25 June unanimously resolved to recommend to council the establishment of the new parish councils.
Assuming the council accept the recommendations, the two new parish councils will come into existence on 1 April 2025, with elections to be held on 1st May 2025. Subsequent elections would be held in May 2027 and then every fourth year.
