Clifton Street Tree and Lighting Replacement Project

Following the public outcry in September 2023, the Clifton Street Public Realm Project (including the proposed tree felling and replacement)   has made very little progress.  However,  on the 17 & 18  October 2024 ‘investigation works’ took place utilising ground penetrating radar to identify and map the underground services. The results are to be used to ‘inform’ the proposed plans, which, we are promised, will be the subject of a public consultation by the council.

All residents are encouraged to respond to Fylde Councils consultation when it is available .

More importantly if you wish to prevent the felling and replacement of all existing trees being taken for granted by our Council,  please make your views known  now
